1. Do I need a passport?
    A. Yes it is needed, but you can still get back to the U.S. Just bring picture I.D. (Drivers License, school and/or work I.D. Birth certificate), some of our patients DO NOT have a passport and have no problems.

  2. Where can we meet to catch the shuttle?
    A. We usually meet our patients at Las Americas Shopping Mall in San Ysidro, Ca., (next to the international border) outside the Nike store and the McDonalds. If you are flying in, we can pick you up at the San Diego International Airport. Or we can meet at any trolley station.

  3. How will I get back to the U.S. side of the border?
    A. We will take you back to the border, where you would wait in line (crossing on foot, varies from 5 minutes up to 1 and a half hours), or you can take the shuttle from our office directly to the airport ($30 per person), while you will still be in line to cross into the U.S. you will be inside a comfortable shuttle (border waiting time: 20 minutes to 1 and a half hour).

  4. What is the cost for an initial consultation?
    A. There is no charge for an initial consultation. If X rays are needed and you decide NOT to start ANY dental procedure, there is the cost for the X rays (digital) ($10 each one or $40 complete set).

  5. Do you accept walk-in's?
    A. Yes we do, but we strongly suggest calling in first.

  6. Can we start the ACTUAL dental treatment on the first visit?
    A. Yes, we recomend calling us to explain your dental needs, so we can set up the appointment and schedule the needed time for the dental treatment.

  7. How much time does the lab need to have a crown ready?.
    A. Most of the time, it takes 2-4 working days to have a porcelain crown or porcelain bridge.

  8. I cannot return in 2-4 working days for my crown/bridge, can I return at a later date?
    A. Yes you can, we will place a temporary crown that should be ok for up to 4 weeks (specific to a case-to-case basis).

  9. I need a bunch of dental work done, is there somewhere you can recommend for us to stay?
    A. We do have apartment type suites in our top 2 floors of our building that are just for our patients. Or we can recommend a nice local hotel in Tj or in the U.S. side of the border.

  10. What are your office hours?
    A. Monday through friday from 9:00 am through 3:00 pm, saturdays from 9:30 am until 1:00 pm

  11. Can we schedule an evening appointment?
    A. Yes, but need to call in advance.
