Porcelain crowns have come a long way. The same way as dental fillings have. This type of crowns have been available for decades, and are still the most common type of crowns around the world.
All porcelain crowns, are an excellent choice, they are mostly used for anterior teeth because of cosmetic purposes. E max crowns (all porcelain) have a certain “translucency” that imitates the same type of translucency of a natural tooth, without having to deal with the greyish “hue” that porcelain fused to metal (PFM) crowns often create between gum and crown.

    COST: $350 dollars
Zirconia Zirconia (Zirconium) crowns are now one of the most popular type of crowns when talking about a complete mouth makeover.

The main reason is that they contain no metal, and they are as strong as a porcelain fused to metal (PFM) crowns. Their use is aimed at back teeth, but their application is for both back and front teeth. Zirconium oxide has been used for artificial hip or knee joints for many years. In this field it has proven its extreme durability with the highest biological tolerance.

How many visits do I need to get a dental implant?

Dental implants are placed in as little as one hour from start to finish, and one or more can be done in a single visit. However, sometimes, depending on the case, they might require an average of 3 dental visits to complete the procedure; once the implant or implants are placed, bone has to “grow” around the dental implant before the abutment and porcelain crown can be placed, and this can take about 4 months. On the second visit, a post like screw called “abutment” is placed. On the third visit, a few days later, the crown, which holds on to the abutment is cemented. On the first appointment, when the actual dental implant is placed, the total amount to be paid is usually $850 dollars.
On the second appointment, four months after the implant is placed, $300 dollars are to be paid. And on the final and third visit, when the crown is placed, the final payment of $450 dollars are then paid. COST: $1600 dollars *Includes dental implant, abutment and zirconia crown.

  • Implant Supported Dentures (All on 4)

Dental implants are a great way to enjoy food again, whether you have upper or lower dentures, or both, they are a great way to support them and give you a way to enjoy your food at it should.

Gastrointestinal problems is another factor why dental implants are important when it comes to enjoying food. The way we chew food and the quality of the portions are important to maintain a healthy overall gastrointestinal system; when food is correctly chewed, it provides the initial part of the digestive system.
